Skills & Requirements
- A Master's degree in Engineering or an MBA is preferred, or equivalent technical knowledge.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Experience managing in a unionized, GMP environment, preferably in a chemical-based manufacturing facility.
- Proficiency in PC skills, including MS Office and SAP or similar ERP system. Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and/or SCADA is preferred.
- Oversee production output, ensuring orders are completed in a timely manner and in compliance with ISO and cGMP standards.
- Lead the production department, which includes responsibilities such as hiring, training, and performance management.
- Uphold safety compliance and quality standards of production.
- Address customer complaints.
- Implement process improvements as needed.
