Associate CTSM - Contract - Rochester, NY

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician for the role of Associate CTSM.

Primary Responsibilities :

This role focuses on handling and distributing specimens, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and ensuring compliance with various regulations.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working under varying temperature conditions and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional service.

Skills & Requirements :

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences or another related field.
• Proficiency with email and basic computer programs.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods while working.
• Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds.

The Associate CTSM's responsibilities will be :

• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures, particularly those preventing the risk of blood and bodily fluid exposure.
• Distribute specimens to the appropriate department for analysis as needed.
• Ensure client satisfaction by providing exceptional service to internal customers.
• Handle shipping packages, including opening and sorting items.
• Enter receipt information into the ACM system.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
• Monitor and document daily maintenance functions, such as specimen rotation and temperature documentation.
• Comply with all relevant regulations, including those from the FDA, New York State Department of Health, Good Clinical Practice, and International Air Transport Association.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
