We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Database Developer specializing in SQL Server and Azure SQL to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions, with a focus on SQL Server and Azure SQL technologies. As a Database Developer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting efficient database structures, optimizing query performance, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our database systems.

Database Design and Development:

• Design, develop, and implement database solutions using SQL Server and Azure SQL technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective database designs.

Query Optimization:

• Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks to improve overall database efficiency and responsiveness.

Database Maintenance and Support:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and database tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.

Data Modeling and Normalization:

• Design logical and physical data models to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Normalize database structures for optimal storage and query performance.

Performance Monitoring and Tuning:

• Monitor database performance metrics and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Implement performance tuning strategies to optimize database throughput and response times.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database schemas, configurations, and procedures.
• Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Developer with a focus on Azure SQL and SQL Server technologies.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Strong understanding of database design principles, normalization techniques, and data modeling concepts.
• Hands-on experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions, particularly Azure SQL Database.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
