Job Description:
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, Agile practices, and a deep understanding of Financial Services and Fixed Income.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of business needs and objectives.
2. SDLC Expertise: Apply your in-depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies to guide projects from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
3. Agile Implementation: Work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to facilitate effective communication, collaboration, and delivery. Use Agile principles to adapt to changing requirements and promote iterative development.
4. Fixed Income: Comprehensive understanding of Fixed Income products, including Treasuries, Municipal Bonds, and Corporate Bonds, and concepts like convexity and duration.
5. Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform business decisions. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques is essential.
6. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation including business requirements, user stories, process flows, and test cases. Ensure documentation is accurate, clear, and accessible to all stakeholders.
7. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, development teams, and other relevant parties. Act as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring effective communication and alignment of objectives.
8. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans, ensuring that solutions meet the specified requirements and are of high quality before deployment.
Qualifications:
• Strong Business Analysis and an understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Comprehensive understanding of Fixed Income products, including Treasuries, Municipal Bonds, and Corporate Bonds, and concepts like convexity and duration.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Expertise in Agile frameworks and practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Agile certifications are a plus.
