Job Details
Our direct client, a global financial services company is seeking a Data Modeler for a long -term consulting engagement.
Pay rate is $80 to $85 per hour
3 days remote and 2 days onsite This contract is for the transformation to build a new platform on Cloud/Azure from the ground up
Must Have Qualifications:
10 years of experience of in Data Modeling and Database Designing in Relational Databases
5 years in Financial Industry with a strong focus on Fixed Income Products
Good SQL, data querying, and performance optimization techniques
Data Modeling tools like Erwin, ER Studio and DBT
Strong experience in building Dimensional as well as highly normalized data models for OLTP
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure technologies like containers, Kubernetes, and serverless computing
Strong experience with data structures, data modeling, data lineage and data catalogs
Plusses:
Azure
Snowflake
Certifications in cloud platforms or data management (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect etc.)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Design and develop logical and physical data models
Translate logical data model into a physical database design
Mapping data elements and transforming data to conform to the data model
