We are seeking temporary Dental Assistants to join our team. Temping offers flexible schedules and high pay. All dental specialties available. Temporary positions available throughout Long Island and the 5 boroughs. Temping offers flexible hours and the opportunity to earn extra money on your own schedule. Locations throughout Suffolk, Nassau, Queens and Manhattan

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform dental charting and documentation using electronic health record systems such as CAD and Epic
- Assist with dental lab tasks such as pouring models and trimming temporary crowns
- Conduct patient assessments including taking vital signs and medical history
- Perform basic dental procedures such as fluoride treatments and sealant applications
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient records

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience
- Current certification in dental radiography (X-ray certification)
- Knowledge of medical coding and insurance billing processes
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically CAD and Epic
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients of all ages, especially in a pediatric setting
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
