Job description

Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile working environment
- Document patient treatment records accurately dental software systems

Requirements:
- Valid dental hygienist license in the state of New York
- Proficiency in using dental software systems , Dentrix,
- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and communicate with patients
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records

- New grads are welcomed.

Hours: Monday 8 to 4 Tuesday 12 to 8, Fridays 9 to 5 alt Saturdays 9 to 2 alt

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
