Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care in the emergency room, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations promptly, utilizing advanced critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure all practices comply with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Licensure: Current RN license in the state of Arizona or compact state license.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience as an Emergency Room RN.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills in emergency nursing, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the contract.
