Currently partnered with a growing tech company in Midtown Manhattan on the search for a Staff Accountant. The candidate will be working closely with the Controller and the Accounting Team. The ideal candidate will have a few years of experience working independently in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash book entries for multiple entities
• Help with month-end Inter-Company accruals, interest income and fees
• Perform month-end reconciliation and Inter-Company transaction reconciliation and make adjustments as needed
• Assist in preparing monthly management reports
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for both domestic and foreign accounts
• Prepare quarter-end financial statements to meet auditors and GAAP requirements
• Help conduct and analyzed monthly logistical analysis for both inbound and outbound shipments
• Prepare general ledger variance reports

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3-4 years of accounting experience
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills
• Experience with NetSuite preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP
• Excellent problem-solving skills
