Job DescriptionPhaxis is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Endoscopic Registered Nurse (Endo RN) for a 13-week travel contract assignment in Farmington, New Mexico. This role requires an RN with strong expertise in endoscopic procedures who can provide exceptional patient care and support to the medical team in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Procedure Assistance: Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.
- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
- Equipment Management: Prepare, maintain, and operate endoscopic equipment, ensuring it is clean, sterilized, and ready for use.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care, procedures, and outcomes in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Compliance: Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
- Licensure: Current RN license in the state of New Mexico or compact state license.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Endo RN in a clinical setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in assisting with endoscopic procedures, strong clinical and organizational skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to various shifts and schedules as required by the contract.
