Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel contract position in Webster, New York. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential dialysis treatments to patients with chronic kidney disease and other renal conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dialysis treatments for patients according to prescribed protocols and standards.
• Monitor patients during dialysis treatments, assessing vital signs and responding to any complications.
• Administer medications and adjust treatment plans as needed based on patient response.
• Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures, home care, and dietary restrictions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment progress.
• Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of dialysis equipment.
• Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dialysis RN.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dialysis procedures, equipment, and patient care standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
