Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during exams and procedures

Administer medication and injections as directed by physician

Perform laboratory tests and procedures

Prepare and maintain medical records

Answer patient phone calls and queries

High school diploma or equivalent

Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent

Current certification as a Medical Assistant in the state of Florida

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office or clinic setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Familiarity with electronic medical records and other computer systems

Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
