We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating the efforts of the inventory, production, and quality teams to ensure efficient and effective operations that meet our quality standards and production goals.

Under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, candidate will be responsible for;

Responsibilities

· Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and meet production targets.

· Provide leadership and direction to the inventory, production, and quality teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

· Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and finished goods.

· Develop production schedules and ensure timely execution to meet customer demand while minimizing inventory levels and production costs.

· Establish and maintain quality control standards and procedures to ensure the highest level of product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity improvement, implementing initiatives to drive operational excellence.

· Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components at the required quality standards.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all employees.

· Embrace our Lean culture and help us develop a truly joyful work environment.

· Own successful execution and delivery of assigned projects for the organization in a variety of assignments.

· Solve problems and provide updates to upper management.

· Manage performance by coaching, counseling, training and developing employee skills while enhancing your own.

· Assist with the tracking of internal and external defects and provide coaching accordingly.

· Performs related duties as required.

· Participate in special project work, such as (but not limited to) sales trend analysis, product testing, quality assurance, lean and continuous improvements.

· Work closely with individuals with disabilities, adapting communication and management styles as necessary to accommodate their needs and foster an inclusive work environment.

Minimum Qualifications

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations management, preferably in a similar industry.

· Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization.

· Have a positive and supportive attitude.

· Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

· Well-developed time management and multitasking skills.

· Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

· Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, especially excel.

· Basic knowledge of mathematics.

· Time management, service orientation, social perceptiveness, and reading comprehension.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

· Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system standard

· Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

· Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software.

· High level of integrity and professionalism.

· Proficiency with Therefore, Monday, and Fishbowl Inventory Software.

· Solid understanding of Lean manufacturing principles/5S/8 deadly wastes, six sigma.

· Bilingual in English and Spanish, or Vietnamese.

· Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
