What Will You Be Doing?
As a Guest Services Agent, you will be responsible for:
- Welcoming guests and providing them with a smooth check-in process, which includes room selection, key issuance, and a comprehensive introduction to our facilities
- Assisting guests with check-out, ensuring all charges are correctly accounted for and handling various forms of payment
- Showing a thorough understanding of our hotel, including room categories, packages, promotions, and local area information
- Using up-selling techniques to promote our services and facilities, ensuring maximum room occupancy
- Addressing guest inquiries and requests in a timely and friendly manner
- Handling guest complaints with professionalism, conducting thorough research to find the most effective solutions
- Relaying messages to guests when required
- Respond to guests' special needs and requests, ensuring their satisfaction and encouraging repeat business
- Remain calm and alert during emergencies or busy periods, while serving as a role model for other employees
- Comply with attendance rules and be regularly available for work
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
You Must
- Have excellent communication skills in English
- Be a self-starter with a professional demeanor
- Be a team player and willing to assist co-workers
- Have basic mathematical skills and the ability to accurately input information into our systems
- Be able to stand and perform duties at the front desk
- Be observant and attentive to emergency situations
- Have the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with associates, customers, and patrons
