Job Title Metrology Technician 3 Job Description Be a high performing team member of a growing metrology lab within a global health technology company. You will independently test, calibrate, and repair a variety of measurement equipment Your role:
Test, calibrate, and certify instrumentation through daily calibrations on measurement equipment
Evaluate equipment specifications and provide guidance to engineering/production partners
Maintain the inventory of calibration standards
Coordinate with internal customers and external service providers
Development of calibration procedures to support specifications, blueprints, drawings, and other technical requirements
Maintain detailed records of all calibration work performed, write reports, and generate calibration certificates
You're the right fit if:
You've acquired 7 years of calibration work experience
Your skills include experience with Fluke Met/Team, equipment troubleshooting, medical device experience in an FDA/ISO regulated environment, ability to interpret prints, drawings and schematics, project management skills, experience in conducting uncertainty analysis and test method validation
You have an Associate's degree or Military PMEL training or equivalent years of experience
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
You have the ability to comprehend in fast pace, high demand environment while working independently
