We are currently working with a leading listed specialist global investor in the energy storage sector who are dedicated to building, owning and operating large scale batteries globally. They are in Partnership with a regional Private Equity firm who manage 10's on Billions in AUM.

Their current Australian portfolio comprises numerous battery energy storage projects and solar PV farm, with a total capacity of almost 2GW (when all completed)

As a result of growth they are looking for a Commercial Director in Sydney who will be responsible for M&A and Growth Strategy in Australia working very closely with the CEO and the Chairman who is highly regarded across Australia in the Renewables space.

The ideal candidate would be at the Director level and have experience in M&A and/or Investment / Financing, in Renewables. Transaction exposure in BESS would be advantageous.

Position will include leading origination and partnership development for new energy contracts, managing internal and external approval processes for new energy contracts, engaging with external development partners to ensure project delivery, assessing financial modelling, market analysis, and deal structuring and other Commercial related duties.
