Title: Program Director, Career Partners $2,500 Sign-On Bonus

Position Type: Full-time

Location: Based in Annandale, VA, with anticipated travel required to all four campus locations (Annandale, Fairfax, Laurel, Leesburg)

We are recruiting a Program Director to provide leadership to PHILLIPS innovative career and technical education high school program: PHILLIPS ~ Career Partners. Career Partners team members are subject matter expert instructors in a variety of career pathways, teaching students to build houses, design, and print 3D objects, grow fresh produce in an indoor hydroponic classroom and cook nutritious, delicious food.

What the Career Partner Program Director does:

The Program Director provides vision, leadership, and management consistent with PHILLIPS values and service orientation for an array of services addressing career and technical education and the development of new programs for youth and young adults. Additionally, the Program Director:

• Develops, implements, and operates the Career Partners program encompassing career programs at all four campuses (Annandale, Fairfax, Laurel, Leesburg).
• Builds and maintains an integrated, effective service array within Career Partners and a strong, cohesive staff team within the program.
• Ensures effective, efficient transition services across programs focusing on successful career outcomes for youth and young adults.
• Builds family and community engagement that supports high quality programming and positive career outcomes.
• Builds and maintains a climate of client acceptance, providing services that are sensitive and responsive to the unique cultures of Career Partners youth and families.
• Recruits, hires, and supervises competent, credentialed staff that demonstrate PHILLIPS values and fit well on the Career Partners team.

What the Career Partner Program Director brings to the team:

• Master’s degree in special education, transition services or similar field
• Experience in work-based learning, workforce development, CTE or transition services
• Experience in Career Technical Education and/or or transition services
• 5 years of experience working with children and youth with behavioral health challenges and families of youth with such challenges
• Supervisory experience
• Experience with special education school management and administration
