Position Summary:

As the head of Utilities Plant, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of our utilities infrastructure, including high-pressure steam, chilled water, and compressed air systems. Your primary objective is to ensure the continuous and efficient supply of these critical resources to support our industrial campus and its tenants. You will also be tasked with managing a dedicated team of approximately 20-25 crew members, making your leadership and management skills essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

-Manage and supervise a team of utility technicians, engineers, and operators, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.
-Ensure the reliable operation of high-pressure steam, chilled water, and compressed air systems, including routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
-Develop and implement maintenance and optimization strategies to enhance the efficiency and performance of utility systems.
-Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production departments to support their operational needs and minimize downtime.
-Monitor utility system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
-Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all utility plant operations.
-Budget and resource management to optimize plant performance and reduce operational costs.
-Provide technical guidance and support to the team, including training and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

-10 years of experience in running large scale HVAC/Mechanical systems in the industrial field.
-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
-Extensive experience in managing utility plant operations in an industrial setting, with a strong focus on high-pressure steam, chilled water, and compressed air systems.
-Demonstrated leadership and management experience with a track record of successfully leading and developing a team.
-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
-Knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures for utility systems.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative work environment.
-Commitment to safety and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
-Technical knowledge in electrical, control systems (PLCs) and mechanical systems is a plus.
-Experience with utility management SCADA software and tools is an advantage.
