**Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our physical therapy practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical office environment. This role requires a strong background in medical administrative support, a thorough understanding of medical terminology, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

**Responsibilities:**

- Greet patients and ensure they receive the care they need, in a timely and professional manner.

- Coordinate patient appointments, procedures, and tests, ensuring all necessary information is accurately documented.

- Manage patient files and records, including insurance information and medical history.

- Assist with scheduling, billing, and insurance claims.

- Maintain a clean and organized office environment, adhering to infection control policies and HIPAA regulations.

- Provide medical office support, answering phone calls, taking messages, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.

- Develop strong relationships with patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout their care journey.

- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and other staff members to ensure seamless care coordination.

- Identify and resolve any issues that may arise, using problem-solving skills to find solutions.

**Experience:**

- 1 years of experience in a medical or dental office setting, preferably as a patient care coordinator or medical administrative assistant.

- Proven experience with medical terminology and medical office software.

- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
