Role - Full Stack Java Developer

Location - Boston MA

Hybrid - 5 days onsite a month

Must Have - Java, Angular, AWS, Python and SQL (CFA Certification is a strong plus)

Primary -

• Full Stack experience (Java v. 8, 11 or 17, Angular v. 13, 14 or 15 – not JS)
• Python, foundational skills in SQL
• Investment management experience

The Expertise We Need

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a quantitative or computational field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics.
• 5 years of hands-on experience working with investment management professionals preferably in building complex software solutions using analytical and quantitative concepts.
• Proven significant exposure to either Equities, Fixed Income or Alternative Asset classes
• Understanding of Fixed Income instruments, security analytics, investment workflow and functioning of bond markets is a significant plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders including fundamental and quantitative researchers, portfolio managers and technology partners.
• Full-stack software development knowledge preferably with Angular, Java, SpringBoot
• A great plus to have skills and experience in Python, SQL, and Linux.
• Experience with AWS cloud environment development and deployment is a plus.
• Kubernetes/EKS deployment and operations management exposure is a plus.
• Favor Agile development practices that prioritize the incremental delivery of working software and respond well to change in requirement scope.
• Progress towards CFA program certification is a significant plus.
