We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Event Coordinator. This position will be responsible for the advance coordination and on-site execution of events while playing a key role in helping the Arena events teams to meet their goals and objectives. This team of events professionals is tasked with the planning and execution of concerts, sporting events, sponsor and season ticket holder events and other non-ticketed events at an elite level. With a strong focus on clear communication, adaptability to changing circumstances and the ability to rally a team around a common goal, the Event Coordinator is a key player in driving organizational success.
What You Will Do
  • Support the Event Management team with key ticketed events, including concerts and sporting events
  • Work with offsite VIP party planners to most efficiently utilize VIP party amenities during concerts and events
  • Coordinate general admission and early entry programs across multiple departments and functional roles including marketing, ticketing, guest services, security
  • Working with Event Managers and Guest Services Managers, establish and install appropriate concourse and exterior signage plan based on event type
  • Plan and execute multiple non-ticketed events (partner and season ticket holder events, community events, meetings, etc.) at the arena and at Player 15 HQ
  • Alongside Event Managers and Building Manager, develop and maintain venue resources for the arena and Player 15 HQ including tech pack, maps, space resource guides, and other helpful event planning resources
  • Coordinate and collaborate with team members to help drive productivity of the broader team
  • Continually evaluate effectiveness and look for areas of improvement across all Arena and HQ events
What We Need From Our Event Coordinator
  • Thoughtful and detailed communicator who is capable to synthesizing a plan to be easily and clearly understood by a multitude of stakeholders
  • Solution-oriented leader with a customer service mindset
  • One to two years in successful event coordination or related experience
  • Experience working independently and also succeeding in a team environment
  • Ability to utilize a multitude of tools to clearly and effectively communicate event goals including Microsoft Office and other provided tools
Experience/ Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-2 years’ experience in event coordination or similar experience

  • Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person.
