We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Social Media Intern– Footprint Center to assist team members with covering Footprint Center concerts & events, developing creative ideas for our social pages and growing engagement on social platforms.
What You Will Do
Ability to transit throughout the arena for long periods of time. This position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is S-Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Social Media Intern– Footprint Center to assist team members with covering Footprint Center concerts & events, developing creative ideas for our social pages and growing engagement on social platforms.
What You Will Do
- Develop new content strategies for showcasing all the types of events that happen at Footprint Center, specifically focused on IG and TikTok
- Support daily content publishing across Footprint channels and assist in maintaining a social media calendar
- Engage in community management and customer response across social channels with fans
- Leverage trending topics and conversations in real-time to amplify the voice of Footprint Center
- Support Footprint Center influencer program outreach and collaboration efforts
- Perform social media tasks on event days by shooting vertical content, filming fan TikToks and posting across social media channels in real time
- Quickly recognize and react to trends to grow the Footprint Center TikTok account
- Analyze and report on social media metrics and performance, conduct competitive analysis on similar accounts and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
- Help in planning and executing social media contests, giveaways, and other engagement activities
- Collaborate with Footprint Center marketing team on fully integrated marketing plans for event promotion and event fan experiences
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for entertainment, music and events
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Possesses a high level of confidentiality to handle sensitive information
- Ability to be professional with high-profile talent
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A passion for social media strategy and community building online
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, evenings, weekends, holidays
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous internship or college experience in managing social pages in entertainment space (preferred)
- Experienced content creator, shooter, and editor to execute content in real time across multiple platforms (preferred)
- Experience supporting social strategies across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, and other emerging platforms
- Subject matter expert on social media platforms
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and create unique social content
- Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance
