Phoenix Veterinary Referral and Emergency (PVRE) is seeking a veterinary technician that is able to work in our ICU. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have previous ICU experience
• Flexibility in hours including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays
• Customer service skills
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Excellent communications skills
• Team player

Your technician role will consist of:

· Triaging emergency cases as they arrive at the hospital.

· Perform radiographs using proper positioning of patients.

· Have an understanding of normal ranges of patient vital signs.

· Obtain blood pressure and vital signs.

· Be able to initiate CPR

· Properly calculate medical math

· Place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters.

• Critical monitoring and crib cases

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
