Photo Texas Photography is Hiring a School Photographer Near College Station, TX

Photo Texas Photography is seeking highly motivated, energetic, responsible individuals to join our team of professional school photographers in the College Station area. Our photographers work together throughout the school year to provide each child with high quality portraits. Photographers are provided with in-depth training before the fall season begins.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Display confidence and professionalism at all times
  • Consistently capture high quality portraits of students and staff
  • Communicating with photographic subjects: putting them at ease, encouraging them, and directing them.
  • Be focused on getting a good picture, no matter what is going on around you
  • Efficiently assemble photography equipment at picture day locations
  • Arriving on time for picture day and prepared with proper equipment
  • Work in tandem with campus staff as well as parent and student volunteers to ensure a smooth portrait day experience
  • Maintain confidentiality of school and student related information
  • Represent Photo Texas Photography in a professional manner at all times while adhering to all company and school rules and policies.

Requirements:

  • Patience when dealing with large numbers of students (ranging from age from PK – 12th grade)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment
  • Be a people person with excellent communication skills.
  • A positive attitude
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to be proactive in assisting others and problem solving
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift and operate camera equipment
  • A high school diploma

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 30 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • College Station, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)
