DevOps Engineer | Las Vegas, NV (Only Local) | Fulltime or Contract

Short Description:

We are looking for experienced ProdDevOps Engineers to support the overall growth of the organization. This position will be primarily responsible for deploying software products to production environments, that are designed to increase the value of customers to the organization.

What are we looking for?

• A minimum of 5 years experience deploying software and database scripts to complex production environments is required.
• A minimum of 3 years in a DevOps role writing automation scripts using Powershell, Ansible or similar scripting language is required
• Working experience using CI/CD pipeline tools such as TFS/AzureDevOps, Jenkins
• Working experience using orchestration tools such octopus deploy is a plus
• Working experience building, packaging and deploying Java/JavaScript,.Net services and web applications and microservices is required.
• General understanding of webserver software such as IIS and Apache
• General understanding of Application Infrastructure Components such Load Balancers, Firewalls, Web Servers, Application Servers, Database Servers, Certificates etc
• Working experience deploying software using Adobe AEM platform is required.
• Working experience deploying software in a OnPrem and Cloud environment is required
• Experience in building, deploying and maintaining containerized software in OpenShift or Kubernetes is a plus.
• Knowledge of Linux (RHEL) and Windows Operating systems.
• Working experience using bash-, korn shell, SSH,Putty, Secure Copy
• Experience using DBmaestro is a plus
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively and follow up to ensure achievement of deadlines, outcomes, and results

Preferred Qualification:

• Knowledge of Banking/Financial services industry
• Knowledge of DevOps and Agile practices
