Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYC Health Hospitals/Kings County is seeking to expand current Maternal Fetal Medicine services with the addition of a full-time Maternal Fetal Medicine Director. Kings County Hospital specializes in the diagnosis and management of obstetric, medical, surgical, and fetal complications of pregnancy. Offering advanced pregnancy ultrasound, consultations, genetic testing and counseling, fetal testing and support for high-risk pregnancies. The hospital is academically affiliated with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and trains their medical students and OBGYN residents .

Kings County Hospital is located in the East Flatbush/Prospect-Lefferts section of Brooklyn, close to the 2 and 5 subways. Our patients are diverse, with the majority being afro-Caribbean. Most of our patients are native English speakers. Knowledge of French/Haitian Creole is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and Outpatient setting
• Coordinates and supervises MFM staff as directed by the Vice-Chair
• Reading and observation of Ultrasound reports
• Consultation of High-Risk Obstetrical patients
• Assists with management of complicated intra-partum and post-partum patients
• Provides supervision and teaching to Fellows, Residents, and Medical Students
• Performance Improvement activities for OB/GYN and MFM
• Assists in the formulation of OB/GYN MFM protocols

Qualifications

• Board Certified in General Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Minimum 3 years' experience
• Experience in OBGYN MFM Ultrasound units

• Annual salary = $410,000.00 - The salary listed is for full-time employment and does not include any additional call pay or benefits.
