If you desire to improve your work/life balance, Physicians Ambulatory Surgery Center has an opportunity for you! As a part-time or PRN Circulating OR Registered Nurse in our ambulatory surgery center, you will provide safe and individualized nursing care for patients who are undergoing surgery.

Regularly you will . . .

• Supervise and direct patient care in a single operating room
• Organize time, equipment, supplies, and personnel to provide effective and efficient case management
• Address patient needs during admission to the operating room, with attention to requirements specific to the ASC setting
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered
• Confirm that proper techniques and procedures are used according to accepted standards of practice
• Assists in inventory of supplies, drugs, and equipment to maintain availability and stock levels

Success in this position will require . . .

• Commitment to patient care
• Excellent skills and clinical ability
• Experience in operating room care
• Ambulatory surgery experience preferred
• Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support preferred
• Current Missouri Nursing License
