Physicians' Primary Care of Southwest Florida is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Lehigh, FL

Medical Assistant
Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier multi-specialty practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant for our Adult Medicine division in Lehigh Acres.
Our Medical Assistants:
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient and physician use
  • Perform patient intake; vital signs, medical history and medication review
  • Assist physicians in the exam room during physicals and procedures
  • Record patient chart in management system in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
To be Successful – You Need:
  • A certification/registration from an accredited program for medical assistants (CMA/RMA/ABR-OE) or a minimum of two years working as a medical assistant and ability to get certified/credentialed within six months of employment.
  • Great attention to detail and ability to record information accurately
  • A strong attendance record
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of phlebotomy, patient intake and common medications
  • One year of medical assisting experience or combination of medical education and work experience
  • CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Bilingual preferred, but not required
