Job DescriptionAs a MLT/MT at Merit Health Madison, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best-providing quality care to our patients!About The Job:
- The Medical Lab Technician/Medical Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic quality routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests according to pre-established guidelines.
- Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience.
- Performs instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures and maintains records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements.
- Day shift 6:00am-6:00pm
- Requires graduation from a Medical Lab Technician program and passing or being eligible for a national exam given by the Board of Registry.
- Experience: One (1) year of medical laboratory experience is preferred.
