Job Description
- Knowledge of creating/understanding subsystem wiring diagrams and full machine wiring diagrams for low voltage (12V DC 24V DC) systems.
- Knowledge of conducting electrical load calculations and load studies in order to appropriately size wiring, fusing, and components.
- Knowledge of wire harness troubleshooting and identifying root causes.
- Knowledge of working with the harness and cable routers as well as attending design reviews and giving feedback.
- Knowledge of checking harness, cable, and electrical component and assembly drawings.
- Knowledge of getting harness drawings and wiring diagrams into the release process.
- Experience in providing build and troubleshooting support to the factory, suppliers, proving grounds, and field.
- Experience in resolving electrical issues (such as replacement parts for component shortages).
