Job DescriptionPosition Overview: The candidate will have the opportunity to work in a global and very dynamic team of dedicated professionals. The candidate will be part of an application development team focused on customer requirements and satisfaction. He or She will be part of a system engineering team consisting of hardware, system, and customer interface engineers. The team has product responsibility and works with internal cross-functional teams, and with the customer engineering team. This position is important both internally and to our customers. Any achievement will be acknowledged and recognized by both parties. Responsibilities:
Understand customer requirements and deliverables, and customer development milestones.
Participate in customer reviews and discussions.
Work with internal cross-functional teams to deliver prototypes and customer deliverables on time
Utilize engineering disciplines including Six Sigma, DFMEA, and DFM/DFA to develop robust design solutions.
Understand and demonstrate a working knowledge of product designs, components, and development process
Generate concise and effective analyses, reports, and presentations for both internal and customer-focused discussions and reviews.
Analysis of sensor and system performance.
Develop system/component test plans and processes.
Lead/support the design and development of hardware schematics, BOMs & layouts.
Lead/support supplier discussions.
Develop test instrumentation and/or support hardware.
ECU and system hardware design.
Circuit design and analysis.
Interface controls document creation.
Understand ASPICE development process and ISO26262 Functional safety requirements
Generate project timelines and execute a plan to establish milestones.
Understand system-level requirements driving cost-capable component-level designs.
Component/System validation test definition and support.
Experience7 years of Electrical / Electronic engineering and design experience.
Knowledge in software coding, and automation script writing.
Knowledge in digital and analog circuit design and analysis.
Knowledge in CAD, circuit board layout, and circuit simulation.
C/C coding or experience in a scripting language.
Position RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Strong Microsoft suite skills including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Ability to communicate with and understand the needs of the cross-functional teams.
Strong sense of urgency and personal commitment.
Possess excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents.
Highly motivated and disciplined in time management.
Design knowledge of high-speed digital & analog electronic components and circuits.
Capability to use lab tools, equipment, and techniques to verify circuit operation.
Perform analysis of ASIC analog/digital circuit.
Perform worst-case analysis and calculation with Mathcad
Write and debug C/C code.
Write scripts for test automation, and create a simulation box.
