Job Overview:
As a Deli Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment in our deli department. You will assist in achieving sales and profit goals while upholding quality assurance standards. Duties:
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers by answering inquiries about deli products and assisting throughout the store.
- Develop expertise in deli products to offer recommendations and suggestions to customers.
- Ensure product freshness by checking quality and expiration dates, restocking merchandise, and maintaining inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the department manager to address product ordering discrepancies and maintain a positive attitude.
- Stay informed about promotions, specials, and product updates to provide accurate information to customers.
- Adhere to food safety regulations, maintain proper temperatures in display cases, and follow safety procedures diligently.
- Report any safety concerns, accidents, or incidents promptly to management for resolution.
