Job DescriptionJob Title: Project Manager- Digital Banking
Department: Support

Job SummaryProject management responsibilities include planning, leading, managing and influencing one or more cross functional teams from within and outside the company to deliver every project on time and within scope.
Essential FunctionsSummary of Essential Functions % of Time
Create, maintain, prepare and manage various project artifacts derived from statements of work or requirements document, including project plans, status reports, decision and issues logs 20%
Monitor execution against project plans, proactively identify risks and report exceptions, research and problem solve issues 40%
Manage customer communications and expectations 30%
Interact with multiple level of company stakeholders to ensure successful project completion 10%
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for a flawless execution of the projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Working with the internal product experts, develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Create project plan clearly identifying deliverables, milestones, tasks and resources.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Communicate project plan (after internal approvals) to customer for sign-off.
  • Manage project plan and communicate exceptions to Director of Implementation Services.
  • Communicate expectations to customer via e-mail and conference calls.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including publishing minutes of all client meetings.
  • Manage escalation of product enhancement requests, bug resolution, and implementation changes to Product Management, Critical Problem Resolution, and Implementation Services.
  • Ensure timely execution of internal project tollgates.
  • Manage formal hand-off to Support.
  • Above and beyond successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders and make best efforts to create a “pleasant” and a “memorable” client experience.
Non-essential Functions
  • Learn overall process flow and product integration points.
  • Assist with process development.
Relationships
  • Must work with Sales, Solution Engineering, Implementation Services, Product Management, Business Development and Support.
  • Ability to interact effectively with multiple levels of the 3rd party partners and client organizations.
Communication
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills a must.
  • Must have proven experience of professional communication to customers and other stakeholders in crisis situations- must remain calm under fire.
  • Must be able to identify problems, seek resources for guidance, analyze resolutions, and communicate and/or implement resolutions independently.
  • Must have excellent negotiation and conflict management skills.

Education, Background, And ExperienceEducationBachelor’s in business, Computer Science, Accounting or related technical concentration.
PMP certification is desirable.
Courses in project management and project measurement are desirable.
Background/Abilities
  • Referenceable background working with projects that meet the following qualifications:
  • Experience managing projects in Core banking systems.
  • Projects including third party suppliers of complementary technology.
  • Proven delivery of past projects.
Experience3-5 years’ experience in the financial industry is required.
Experience in managing projects; specifically, Digital Banking projects.
Experience managing software implementations in financial services.
Experience communicating effectively to internal and external stakeholders at varying levels from Operations Mangers to Senior Executives.
Certifications/CompetencyMust be proficient with the following Microsoft applications:
