Location: Piedmont Atlanta Hospital
Schedule: PRN, as needed
JOB PURPOSE:
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides
patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
* Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: None.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
* ARDMS registered in at least 1 specialty.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
* BLS certified.
One (1) year of experience is preferred.
Registered ARDMS and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) is desired.
