ABOUT THIS ROLE: 

As the founding member of the Finance & Strategy team, you will help drive Pietra’s growth into the future, while setting up our financial infrastructure to scale. This position will be hands-on with a need to both be in the detail, and take a step back to drive strategy. As a fast-growing business, there will be ample opportunities to lead special projects, which will enable you to expand your expertise and skill set across different products and business lines. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders on the marketing, strategy & operations, and product teams to accelerate top-line growth and improve profitability
• Partner cross-functionally with business partners to create forecasts, establish financial goals, and provide analytical support
• Act as a strategic and trusted advisor to leaders to influence business direction, operational support, and investment decisions
• Identify key business levers and communicate clear insights into drivers of business growth, risk, and opportunities
• Provide financial insight and support for pricing approvals, revenue analysis, and business development initiatives
• Manage relationship with our external accounting firm, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements
• Assist in preparing Board of Directors update materials as well as ongoing investor requests and communications
• Support future fundraising and due diligence processes

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• 5 years of strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking or private equity experience in a high-growth technology sector; prior operational experience at a high-growth company is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities to solve problems and achieve results
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including Excel, SQL, and data visualization software, to extract insights from financial data and inform strategic decisions
