Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized instruction to students requiring academic support
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to address student learning gaps
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create tailored intervention plans
- Utilize learning technology and educational resources to enhance student learning outcomes
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Support students in various subjects including literacy, math, and physical education
Qualifications
- The applicant must hold a valid ODE Intervention Licensure or be able to obtain.
- Experience in tutoring or literacy education preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and instructional design concepts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement curriculum tailored to individual student needs
- Passion for working with students with diverse learning needs
