JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible to assess patient's functional and cognitive problems including daily living activities, upper extremity, strength, endurance, fine/gross motor skills and assesses vocational and community roles.
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations in a time sensitive manner. Correlate data from the assessment to determine an individualized occupational therapy plan of care directed toward goals based on a developmentally appropriate approach.
Provides medically prescribed occupational therapy both in the hospital and out-patient setting
Complete documentation according to PCMH and department guidelines and policies.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:
Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy (BS or MS).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
Possesses current Missouri Occupational Therapist license or confirmation from Missouri Department of Professional Regulation that licensure is in process.
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state, and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
