Account Manager (CSR) - Direct Hire

Bellevue, WA - on-site,8-4:30 with some flexibility on working from home on occasion

Opportunity to join a small, “drama free” , successful, commercial-only Property & Casualty insurance agency! They work efficiently through the day but rarely after hours and never on weekends! Seeking an Account Manager with superior customer service and a positive “can-do” attitude! No sales, maintaining clients.

Experience:

• 5 or more years of experience as a commercial insurance CSR/Account Manager, preferably on the agency side.
• Possession and maintenance of P&C license within the State of Washington.
• Microsoft Office Suite with Applied Systems TAM application
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, especially as it relates to invoicing and cost allocation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with insurance carriers and underwriters
• Team player with superior customer service.

Key functions and responsibilities:

• Work with producer to renew accounts and pre-qualify new business according to agency standards.
• Search for markets that best suit our customers’ needs.
• Prepare and submit insurance applications to markets.
• Compare quotes/coverages and prepare proposals.
• Keep accurate records, communications, and future calendaring within the agency management system.
• Perform general insurance tasks as necessary, such as certificates, endorsements, invoicing, and auto ID cards, etc.
