The Materials Receiving Clerk will be responsible for unloading of incoming trucks containing component parts and placing the parts in the internal stores area until the assembly line needs them. The associate will work closely with production to have component parts kitted and available to the Production team when change overs occur. There are currently positions avaialbe on 2nd shift (3p-11p) and 3rd shift (11p-7a)

Essential Functions:

• Check inventory against requisition and on all stock items.

• Unload incoming trucks.

• Receive incoming material, identify direct charge or stock. Inspect and put all stock items away in warehouse.

• File purchase orders for receiving task. File all receiving material and stores requisitions in the closed files.

• Deliver material to Production lines as needed.

• Work on Stores projects, obsolescence, organization, etc.

• Adherence to the NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its’ Values and Principles.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications Required:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Knowledge of shipping and receiving operations

• Good Communication Skills; Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and writing skills.

• Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills

• Physically able to lift 50lbs shoulder high

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point

• Ability to work independently.
