Assists the Finance Director and Finance Deputy Director in directing, planning, organizing, and coordinating all programs, functions, and activities of the court finance staff. Provides leadership as a member of the Court’s management team to ensure that services are aligned with the Court’s mission. May occasionally act as the Finance Director in the absence of both the Finance Director and Finance Deputy Director. This is a classified position that reports to the Finance Director and works directly with the Deputy Court Administrator when located at the Justice Court. The incumbent performs under limited supervision.Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, finance, or a closely related field and two years of professional accounting experience, including one year in a management or supervisory capacity; OR Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, finance, or a closely related field and four years of professional accounting experience including two years in a management or supervisory capacity; OR any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education approved by the Finance Director and Human Resources. CPA licensure is desirable but not required.
 
None required, but CPA licensure is desirable. Preference is given to applicants with specialized certification or licensure relative to the area of assignment.

Education Reimbursement Program: The program will provide up to $5,250 per calendar year for tuition, required books, registration fees, and laboratory fees. The Employee's lifetime maximum benefit would be for reimbursement of one Bachelor's degree and one Master's degree.
