Wire lights on truck body
Assemble boxes, sides, etc on truck body prior to installation.
Install custom designed truck beds & truck bodies onto brand new and used trucks for use in the construction, shed hauling and other industries.
Handle each truck with the finesse and care needed to make it look like it rolled right off the line – no scratches, marks, or dings.
Work on a variety of truck makes & models – Ford, Dodge, Chevy, and work with creative custom designs.
Jutland Truck Bodies is looking for a wiring/assembly & installer for our custom designed truck beds & bodies. Our ideal installer would have relevant skills and experience working in the truck or automotive industry and a willingness to learn. We will provide training to help you grow in your skillset. Experienced Familiar with auto-electrical systems and assembly & reassembly skills. Custom fabrication background is a plus. If you have a solid set of mechanical skills from the truck or automotive industry – we can provide on the job training.
Detailed: Must carefully assess each truck body/bed to ensure that everything is functioning properly, and no issues are missed. Every scratch, ding or imperfection should be addressed – so that the custom truck goes to the customer in perfect condition.
Analytical: Able to assess the situation and troubleshoot and diagnose any wiring issues. Must have good problem-solving skills.
Active: Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, lift up to 75 lbs and meet the physical demands of installing a truck bed/body.
Team Player: Humble enough to admit mistakes. Drive to do excellent work—strong interpersonal skills.
Clean Cut: Don’t get us wrong – this is a shop job – you will get dirty. What we mean is that you are a positive, upbeat part of the team. That you use clean language and help us maintain a family-friendly feel. It’s common for customers to bring their families to our sales lot and service center.
Dependable: To meet our commitment to our customers, we count on you to be on time, work efficiently, and be dedicated to your team. The typical schedule is 40-50 hours per week.
