On-the-job educational programs for nurses, psychologists, advanced practice providers, psychiatrists, and chaplains are equipping the next generation of care providers.

Pastoral Services InternshipPine Rest is the third largest, freestanding, mental health institution in the country. We are called to express the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by providing behavioral health services with professional excellence, Christian integrity, and compassion.
What Will You Do?This is a formalized internship at Pine Rest through or clinical pastoral education (CPE) program. As an intern you will serve as chaplain in various inpatient units and residential programs. As a chaplain, you will lead worship services and care for patients and staff. We use our ministry experiences for the reflection, education, and development of our pastoral identity and care competence. Some CPE Interns will serve in their own place of ministries.

What Does This Role Require?
Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services requires all employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccinations subject to certain exclusions. Pine Rest is committed to granting reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable laws.

- Must be currently enrolled in a qualifying program with a College/University or other approved educational institution.
