Bartender Job Description
We are searching for a committed, proactive bartender who enjoys working in an exciting, fast-paced environment while promoting growth of the business by ensuring that patrons are receiving excellent drinks, food, and service. You should also be able to work with diverse personalities and diffuse tense situations.
In order to succeed as a bartender, you should be observant and have the ability to think critically and efficiently. You should be a skilled communicator with excellent problem solving, observation, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of beer, wine and cocktails is a must. Ability to participate in drink menu building and execution to entice customers and drive up sales is required.
Qualifications
- Foremost, must be able to provide Award Winning Service by exceeding brand standards be evidence of SALT scores
- Must be a Team player and interact exceptionally well with other departments and fellow associates
- Prior Bartender/server experience required
- Excellent time management, organizational and self- management skills
- Ability to work under pressure during high volume times to achieve Service and F&B sales budgets/targets
- Confident, self-driven, dynamic and loves to learn
- Has a strong ability to take direction and suggestion from others
- Loves the interaction with the public, extroverted personality – genuine care for others demonstrated by daily interactions
Responsibilities
- Promotes, up-sells and enhances the beverage products and services to all guests and patrons
- Strictly follows company-wide and brand protocols regarding service delivery
- Ensures ServSafe beverage protocols are personally understood and followed at all times
- Maintains exceptionally clean, safe and organized work areas at all times
- Preps accordingly for follow day’s business
- Works banquet functions as needed - must be highly flexible in work schedule during high volume and holiday periods
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $5.13 per hour
Shift:
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
Weekly day range:
- Every weekend
- Weekends as needed
Ability to Relocate:
- Augusta, GA 30901: Relocate before starting work (Required)
