Pineridge Farms, Inc. is Hiring an Accounting Supervisor Near Honolulu, HI
We are looking for a detail oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor to provide supervisory support to our Accounting Team. Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day-to-day processes and supervise staff in all accounting disciplines to include payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, timely accurate reporting and finance management. This position is responsible for the oversight of duties covered by our third-party contractor, Altres. Looking for an individual who will be comfortable working in a family-owned company which is undergoing transformation. This position reports directly to the company’s General Manager. Responsibilities are inclusive of but not limited to:
Ensure that all financial and accounting processes are running efficiently, smoothly and productively.
Prepare all financial, accounting reports and analysis required by upper management.
Generate and review all financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting practices.
Identify potential cash flow issues or financial irregularities and report to upper management regularly.
Serve as the liaison between the accounting team and operations team.
Update and maintain fixed asset file.
Assist with customer inquiries regarding billing or account related issues.
Responsible for daily bank deposits.
Assist with processing of COD payments and collections.
Recruit and train accounting staff.
Continuing development and training of accounting staff.
Assist all accounting teams as needed when short-staffed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field is preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years working experience as an accounting supervisor or other accounting management position that involves direct supervision of others.
Excellent communication skills. Able to collaborate and work in a team setting to develop and achieve company and personnel short- and long-term goals.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong leadership skills.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and QuickBooks
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
