Piney Ridge is seeking a Patient Support Supervisor for the Ridgeview Group Home location. PRTC is offering a $2,000.00 sign on bonus

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinate the work and activities of assigned staff, including setting performance expectations in the day-to-day operations of the unit.
• Provide guidance and direction to staff and encourage/build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team member
• Monitor physical and emotional well-being of residents and report unusual behavior or physical ailments to appropriate staff. Prepare and maintain records of progress and services performed.
• Observe and influence the behavior of the residents by communicating, interacting with them, teaching and counseling.
• Encourage patients to participate in social, recreational, or other therapeutic activities that enhance interpersonal skills or develop social relationships and teach strategies to promote patient wellness and independence.
• Lead or co-lead individual or group sessions as part of specific recreational or therapeutic procedures.
• Will provide transportation for residents as needed.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that resident safety is a top priority.

Performs other functions and tasks as assigned.

• 8 hour shift
