- Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items onto and off of trucks or vans.
- Secure items properly to prevent damage during transportation.
- Follow instructions from team leaders or supervisors regarding the placement of items in the moving truck and at the destination.
- Use appropriate moving equipment and tools, such as dollies, straps, and padding, to facilitate the moving process.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth coordination during the moving process.
- Handle items with care to avoid damage to property or injury to oneself or others.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to maintain a safe work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from clients courteously and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the moving truck and equipment.
- Assist in other tasks or duties as assigned by supervisors.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
