Non-Exempt Branch Operations Officer Job SummaryThe Branch Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting Branch Operations assignments and helping to ensure that operational functions within the branches are working within established guidelines and procedures of the bank to meet objectives for customer service and efficiency. Duties include report writing and data analysis as needed for special projects. The Specialist will serve as the administrator for Business Process Management (BPM) and support Source Capture Optimization (SCO) for teller processing within Branch Operations. This also includes promoting system utilization and working with the Branch Operations Officer to adequately access the operational and training needs of the branch staff promoting solid team results.
The employee will support the bank's strategic goals, vision, mission, core values, service standards and service philosophy in actions, words and deeds.
Skills, Knowledge, TalentsEducationRequires a high school diploma/college degree
Prior ExperienceThree years of banking experience preferred. Presentation experience and prior supervisory experiences are required. Written statements of recommendation for promotion by previous supervisors required.
Required Skills And KnowledgeMust have a basic knowledge of the bank's products and services.
Must have a willingness to serve.
Must be able to function efficiently in a network environment and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
Must be able to function efficiently on a general business level of math, possess general accounting knowledge (i.e. debits, credits, and an understanding of the bank's account reconciliations).
Project a professional image by adhering to guidelines in the employee handbook.
Must be able to collect, research, and analyze information skillfully.
Must be a self-starter, a creative thinker, flexible, eager, nurturing, open to change and exhibit good judgment.
Must be a leader by example, attentive to detail, work well with others and responsive to supervisory guidance.
Must have a working knowledge of compliance guidelines for the bank and the industry.
Above average level of understanding of computer and electronic processes.
