At Seattle Reproductive Medicine, our Medical Assistant's have the unique opportunity to be an integral part of a fertility patient’s journey toward becoming parents. The Medical Assistant position at Seattle Reproductive Medicine will allow you to work closely with a multidisciplinary surgical team to provide excellent patient care while making a difference every day.

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Seattle Reproductive Medicine in Spokane, WA. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. This position has variable shifts. Weekday starting times are between 6:45 am - 7:30 am, and ending times are between 3:15 pm - 4:00 pm. With required alternating weekends from approx. 6:45 am - 12:00pm. Although, weekend commitment is minimal, with rotating weekends amongst the other MA staff in the Spokane Clinic 

$3,000 Sign on Bonus! 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sets up and rooms patients for ultrasounds and procedures, and assists physicians or ultrasound technicians. Procedures include, but are not limited to: IUIs, endometrial biopsies, HSGs, OHs, PAP smears, ultrasounds, uterine soundings, and physical examinations.
  • Cleans and stocks rooms, and cleans and cares for equipment and instruments according to OSHA and clinic guidelines.
  • Verifying patient information and recording pertinent medical data
  • Performs phlebotomy using proper technique and universal precautions.
  • Ensures lab specimens are sent to proper labs.
  • Medication education and instruction.
  • Assists in surgical procedures, not limited to Egg Retrieval, Dilation & Curettage and Embryo Transfers.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of Medical Assistant Program and active WA state license
  • Maintain updated BLS/CPR Certification
  • Strong Phlebotomy skills preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Encompass essential medical knowledge and terminology
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations and to conduct daily duties in a professional appearance and manner.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Covers weekends and holidays as assigned.
  • Works in locations other than the employee’s home office when requested.
  • Identifies improvement opportunities and participates in resolving problems identified.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

$21.00-$32.00 per hour

The compensation range for this position is between $24.00 and $32.00 per hour. Final compensation offers will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, dental, life, and vision insurance.
