Member Services Representative Location: Fort Worth Texas 76155 Pay Range: $18.00-$20.00 hourlyJob Description:
Responsible for reviewing home equity loan requests and assisting Credit Union members with closing their loan.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Handle file set-up for home equity loans which includes providing appropriate disclosures to members, speaking with members about their loan terms, and reviewing the loan for closing
Perform daily review on the Home Equity pipeline
Process Closing Docs for home equity loans
Process Property Condition Reports for Home Equity Loans
Process Verification of Employment for Home Equity Loan applicants
Perform booking of home equity loans
Input home equity loan data into daily Excel spreadsheets
Perform other duties as assigned
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of previous experience, preferably in a credit union environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in mortgage lending
Previous customer service experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
Knowledge of Loan Link and Episys System
Ability to exercise excellent member and customer service skills
Skilled in above average interpersonal and communication skills and professional telephone manners
Ability to perform basic math calculations and analyze data
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a team in a diverse environment
Ability to interact professionally with all employees and members
Ability to learn quickly and adapt well to change
Ability to self-motivate with strong organization skills and capacity for attention to detail
Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish is a plus
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels both verbally and written
Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
