```Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans and providing support to help them achieve their goals. Responsibilities: - Implement behavior plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) - Provide direct one-on-one behavioral therapy to individuals with autism or developmental disabilities - Collect data on client progress and behaviors during therapy sessions - Assist with the development and implementation of individualized care plans - Teach and reinforce appropriate social skills, communication skills, and daily living skills (ADLs) - Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care - Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and behavior observations - Attend regular team meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field preferred - Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities - Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a team - Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others Skills: - Special education - Data collection - Care plans - Behavioral therapy - Working with individuals with autism - Applied behavior analysis (ABA) - Working with individuals with developmental disabilities - ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) - Experience working with children If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with autism or developmental disabilities, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
